Cheesman Park
Cheesman Park is located in central Denver on 25 acres, just southeast of downtown and framed on 3 sides by private residences. This tranquil park is a favorite running location for many, playing soccer or just reading a book.
The most visible attraction in the park is the Pavilion and as been in place since 1908. Today this serves as a place for public gatherings and behind the gorgeous pavilion there is also many groves of tall trees, rose gardens and view of the mountains. The Cheesman Park neighborhood is also one of the oldest in Denver.
LOCATION: The boundaries include Colfax Avenue to the north and 8th Avenue to the south; Downing Street to the west and York Street to the east.
EVENTS: The Park Art Festival and Denver’s Pridefest held annually.
